I started at BCO in July of 1998- right in the heat of the summer. Sweeping floors and making note pads because I was not old enough to run any equipment. First day on the job was hot and sweaty, I was gluing a large order of pads, tightened down the padding machine- and poof! ..The stock slipped out of the wagon and all over the floor. I was pretty sure I was not going to be asked to come back. As I got older, I was taught more and more about the pressroom operations. Fast forward to 2004- I was in college about to graduate, working part time with BCO, and holding a few other part time jobs to pay the bills. Once graduated from college, I was asked to run the finishing division within BCO, and take on a full time employment status. 20 plus years later, a little luck in being asked to come back that hot summer day, and the kindness of Janet and Doug, presently I am the general manager assisting to oversee the daily operations.
